The PERLE system is based on a lagrangian particular dispersion model forced by the MesoNH meteorological model coupled with IFS model. The outputs are: concentration, time-integrated concentrations and deposit fields. The available data formats are GRIB edition 2, PNG, KMZ and Shape file. Data access is restricted to institutional authorities.

    Leeward geographical area directly impacted within a radius of 10km by a radionucleide release. Outputs cover French nuclear sites. The principle is based on the in situ wind measurements provided by the SEMENCE institutional network. These measurements are combined and given as an input to a particle Lagrangian dispersion model. Particle dispersion provides an observed leeward area directly impacted by a radioactive release during a one hour period. In case of missing observations, they will be supplemented by wind data given by the AROME meteorological model. Available data format for outputs are PNG and KMZ. Data access is restricted to institutional authorities.

    Forecasts of volcanic ash cloud into the atmosphere. Forecasts cover a global area for a period ranging from 0hour to 94hours starting from the moment of the atmospheric release. The time step is 6 hours, on a regular 0.5degree x 0.5degree grid. The forecasts are based on the MOCAGE-ACCIDENT model which is a specific version of the atmospheric dispersion model MOCAGE (Model of Atmospheric Chemistry of Large Scale) developed at Météo-France by CNRM. Meteorological forcing is provided by the ARPEGE data or the IFS data. The produced fields deal with concentration, time-integrated concentrations and deposits fields.
